Yad Voezer’s Shivas Haminim Succos Project

yad voezer shivas haminim project

In the lead-up to Succos, Yad Voezer launched a special Shivas Haminim project, giving members of the community an opportunity to support individuals with special needs while bringing a little of Eretz Yisroel into their sukkahs.

Beautiful arrangements featuring the Shivas Haminim, the seven species for which Eretz Yisroel is praised, were carefully prepared by adults supported by Yad Voezer. Each arrangement was put together with care, creating an attractive Yom Tov decoration with a meaningful story behind it.

The project offered participants an opportunity to take part in a practical and rewarding activity, developing their skills, building confidence and experiencing the satisfaction of creating something for others to enjoy.

The finished arrangements were made available to the community through Carmel Clapton, allowing families to decorate their sukkahs while supporting the people who had worked hard to prepare them.

Initiatives like these reflect Yad Voezer’s commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for individuals with special needs to develop their abilities, contribute to the wider community and take pride in their achievements.

The result was a beautiful Succos project that brought together creativity, community support and the special connection to Eretz Yisroel.
