The recent Yad Voezer trip to Val Thorens, France was months in the planning and packed with unforgettable experiences for our campers. Long before departure, the team was preparing every detail. Each camper’s needs were considered in advance, from what would make them comfortable during the journey to the support they would need throughout the trip.
Travelling abroad with a group of clients with additional needs requires considerable planning, flexibility and patience. Staff worked closely with each camper, anticipating difficulties and adapting whenever something unexpected arose.
Once in France, the campers enjoyed the spectacular surroundings of Val Thorens, experienced new places and activities, and spent a fun-filled week delighting in nature, friendship and the magic of the Alps.
Behind every activity was a team making sure each camper could participate fully. Staff adjusted plans where necessary and provided continuous support throughout the trip. The aim was not simply to give campers access to the experience, but to enable them to enjoy it as independently and confidently as possible.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of the Yad Voezer staff and volunteers, together with the supporters who helped make the trip happen.
The result was a successful camp filled with friendship, new experiences and memories that our campers will carry with them long after returning home.
