Simchas Beis Hashoeiva at Yad Voezer

Yad Voezer hosted a special Simchas Beis Hashoeiva on the first day of Chol Hamoed Succos, bringing together members of the special needs community, their families, staff and friends for an afternoon of music, dancing and celebration.

The afternoon began at Tasti Pizza’s sukkah, where guests were treated to free pizza and chips, generously sponsored by Tasti Pizza. It was an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the Yom Tov atmosphere and spend time together before the main celebrations began.

The festivities then continued at Kadimah Hall on Amhurst Park, where live music and dancing brought everyone together in the spirit of Simchas Yom Tov.

The event was honoured by the presence of Dayan Dunner shlita, who joined the celebrations and helped make the occasion especially memorable for those attending.

At the heart of the afternoon was the opportunity for individuals with special needs to take part in the joy of Succos alongside the wider community. Events like these are an important part of Yad Voezer’s work, creating opportunities for connection, inclusion and shared experiences beyond everyday care.

The afternoon was filled with music, friendship and the unmistakable joy of Yom Tov, leaving everyone with wonderful memories of a celebration enjoyed together.
